Friends, help me welcome Ana Suarez, the latest addition to The Inventory team. In addition to being a writing superstar, she’s a proud cat mom, owns a rad shoe rack, and is on the look out for pimple patches.

I’ve had a set of pimple patches in my cart for two months, but after trying some in the past and seeing no results, I am afraid this will happen all over again. I don’t have cystic acne, but I have trouble spots that flare up about once a week.

I need pimple patches that can combat little white heads and the more annoying full-on zits I can get on my cheeks and forehead. Bonus, I have sensitive skin, so I’ve been additionally burned by adhesives that have given me allergic reactions.

As your typical, clueless dude, I know close to nothing about skincare—I’m no Style Girlfriend and I’m definitely no Chelsea Stone. So, I asked her for advice. 

Chelsea says if you have sensitive skin, “you can do a test patch on, say, your hand to see if you have a reaction before putting it on your face.” She also says if the adhesive is the problem this solution from The Ordinary can be dabbed directly onto zits and this drying lotion is a cult favorite.
